Tess G. Day 3 - Fail

Shorter shower (like a shower one would take in Mexico or a Central American country)
No heat in room at Dad's house
No chocolate/candy wrappers
No school silverware/milk

My shower was short (and smelled like decomposing mouse - not sure what's up with that), but the shower was pretty much the only component of my challenge that went well. Maybe the heat, since I'm still not at Dad's until Sunday. Today at school I brought Gruyere potatoes from home, which I microwaved on a ceramic plate and washed down with water from my Nalgene. However, I forgot my silverware this morning and ended up using (gasp) a school fork! I just didn't want to eat it with my hands. It was greasy, and I'm sick. I felt really guilty afterward though, I promise. Last night I also messed up on the candy thing. I was desperate so I cheated and ate a bunch of Richardson's truffles, claiming to myself that they aren't wrapped, but in actuality they are (those little Reeses cup thingies). I felt gross AND guilty at the same time. Joy!

I like the no/minimal lights. School is more comfortable and manageable with low lights, and home-life is much more pleasant. I ate out last night (at Applebees, no less) and felt like it was forsaking all of the low impact values. Especially the mozzarella sticks. If that's what it takes to support frozen drinks at prom...
