CRAPPY ORANGE PIECES OF CLOTH

1.) less meat/less plastic bags
2.) recycling
3.) radio not being on 24/7
4.) no Styrofoam containers

So I had changed no new plastic bags to less meat because I had been having trouble with the no new plastic bags. I got some skepticism for changing my "challenge" to something I found easier from a few people, so I guess I will try to cut back on my plastic bag usage and eat less meat. Recycling I'm not doing as well as I would like to be, but I don't really understand the system we have at our house. I guess if I cared as much as I should, that I would take more proactive measures in figuring it out but I honestly don't care enough. I've had my stereo on more than I've needed to lately, mostly because I've had it on while trying to fall asleep but I've been having a hard time with that as well. Since I've been having a hard time sleeping I put my stereo on and I've fallen asleep with it on for the past couple of days. I've also forgotten to turn it off when I've left for school the past two days. Today I did fine and didn't use any Styrofoam containers. Lights off challenge is going.....Well I don't to well with the lights off challenge unless people remind me. Yesterday however when i was doing homework at Ricia's we realized we didn't need the light so we turned it off. Also if Ricia comes over to my house she'll turn off my light when it doesn't need to be on. So go Ricia!!!
I'm still a Little wary of the final product for this project. It's not such a bad project, I just don't see it working out and getting finished on time. I see the projects being used more as entertainment and not for awareness which I believe was the original intent. In my humanities blocks my group watched some infomercials. We were watching them to get ideas for our project which is going to be an infomercial of sorts. My group talked about Sham-Wows and other such product and their ridiculous names. We wanted a name like that for a recycling bin for our infomercial, but someone in the group said that recyclo-master sounded like a super hero character. Basically we then talked about Sham-Wows again and I was saying that people buy it because it has a cool name. Like Sham-Wows wouldn't sell as much if they were called "CRAPPY ORANGE PIECES OF CLOTH." It was said that recyclo-master was a cartoon character name so I said we should give recycling bins, Sham-Wow capes. That's basically what I took away from today.
