So I've decided to drop the "reduce internet usage time" because we use it so much for school that it just feels hypocritical and useless to pledge that I will not use the internet as much. The thing is though all the stuff I use it for at school is utilitarian and "necessary" to the class. Just like this blog, it just feels like cheating to say that I will not use the internet if I have to keep up with my blog. I would rather do an old school journal to be honest. Its not that I don't like blogging, it just doesn't feel right. I felt the same way about "No Impact Man" , it just seemed kind of stupid when hes trying to cut out all this stuff and do without, and then he hops right on the internet and starts blogging about it. It just isn't right that he allows himself to do that and makes his wife suffer more than he does. If he was really dedicated to the project, he would've written in a journal and then either make that public or write the book from that journal.
