Shorter shower
No heat in room at Dad's house
No chocolate/candy wrappers
No school silverware/milk
Most of my low-impact related escapades this weekend didn't actually involve my own challenges. One of Matt's is hypermiling, so when we were driving somewhere on Saturday, we put it in neutral all the way back to town from Poet's Seat. We also drove back from Bernardston at something like half the speed limit, which annoyed everyone behind us. There was a motorcyclist behind us who was swerving like crazy and I thought he was frustrated, but Matt said he was only stretching his legs (that's how motorcyclists stretch. Who knew?). I'm not necessarily sure on that, though. Matt tends to sound authoritative when he isn't. I've been keeping up with the no school milk/silverware in a way that means I'm sort of just dehydrated. I am using my Nalgene, but I'm also totally not drinking enough. As a rule, desserts are more fun unwrapped - like the chocolate tart we had Sunday night. So good! It was also nice spending some time outside up at Poet's Seat. A remarkable number of people go up there to see the view, sit in their cars with the engine running. It's kind of gross. I hung out the laundry, too, instead of drying it. That was kind of peaceful, being out in the sun. The clothes smelled nice.
