1. Walk anywhere under two miles
2. No unneeded lights
3. No plastic bags
4. Recycle
Remember those? Yeah, thought not. Those are my challenges, simpleton. For the low impact thing. Still going nice and swimmingly. I got up this morning and the only light I turned on was the kitchen light in lieu of it not being quite sunny enough at 7:00 AM no matter what you say. Yes, I even used the bathroom in the dark. It's theraputic.
Then I walked to school. Walkers are good at the following things: sarcasm, deadpan, funny noises/facial expressions, pissing people off and walking. Not even my backpack is a problem. Now for those of you who don't know by now, I live on Thayer Rd. Meaning barely a quarter mile away from the school.
I do have a plastic bag in my lunch. Hey, I ain't gonna get a container dirty for a freakin' bagel. Besides, it's a ziplock; those can actually be washed out and reused. Yay savvy.
Recycling also going nicely. Why? Well it just is. Recycling is recycling.
Other than that, I plan in fully enjoying my processed and possibly not local chicken for dinner, my non-local dairy, and my sister's processed and packaged birthday cake.
Signing off.
