My challenges were:
Shorter shower (like a shower one would take in Mexico or a Central American country)
No heat in room at Dad's house
No chocolate/candy wrappers
No school silverware/milk
Only two of the four have been so far applicable. I can only do the heat at Dad's because the heat there is by room - at Mom's it's whole house, and she would hate it. HOWEVER it was freezing last night and I did not turn on the heat (she wasn't home yet). I got under the covers and fell asleep. Good for low impact, slightly detrimental to productivity.
Candy? This is sort of double-dipping, because I'm trying to avoid the candy for health reasons too, as well as to not generate waste. I felt like ice cream last night with the kids I was babysitting was a grey area, and honestly, who can refuse a three year old? PLUS I shied away from a gifted candy bar last night. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I sure ain't going to eat it (yet).
No lunch yet, but I brought a spoon today with my chili and have my Nalgene, so it looks alright.
Shower - fine, actually more refreshing when shorter because there's no time to sort of doze against the wall. No problems thus far.
Lights? Not really an issue since I went to bed early, but I did manage to sit in the dark for awhile looking out the window.
