Day three
My commitments are to not use un-re-usable plastic bottles, use recycled paper, spend an extra half an hour outside, and to not use any plastic bags.
so far spending time outside has not only gone well but its been enjoyable. usually i go and sit on my fallen tree and listen to my ipod, which maybe defeats the purpose of being outside instead of inside, but its really relaxing and nice. So I'm going to do it anyways. I had a little relapse on my no plastic bottle commitment. I had a game today and I got in my truck and started to drive home, half way home I realized that I was really dehydrated and thirsty. it just so happens that my mother keeps a bottle of water in every one of her vehicles. so i slipped up and drank the whole bottle. maybe i can reuse it though so it might not be completely bad. I have not used any plastic bags so far, so that has gone well. also today in calculus class when I was trying to figure out a problem, instead of using a new sheet I just reused an old one. As for the no unnecessary lights, its been a bit iffy. The problem is whats necessary? For example, at my house we have a pool table with three hanging lights over them when i go to play pool there supposed to be on and you need them to play, but really i don't have to play pool so does that mean that its unnecessary or what?
