Reusable Containers and Totebags: Day Three

This morning my lunch was packed in all reusable plastic containers...then thrown into a plastic bag. I practically ate my mother's head off when she handed me my lunch. I decided to move my lunch into a tote bag that I could being home with me at the end of the day. Granted, I could bring home my plastic bag and use it again tomorrow, but I really don't want to use anything plastic (However, that sort of failed when I opened a bag of chocolate covered pretzels this morning)

So much for my reusable uncontainers. One snapped as soon as I opened it. I was so upset. And then pickle juice leaked all over it and it's not okay with me. Everything smells like pickles. But it's okay. I'll find new containers. We went to Big Y today and we bought some drinks and I refused a bag, and for my three classmates behind me :) But I bought a soda in a plastic bottle. I was a little bummed about that. But I'll recycle it.

LIGHTS! I actually like not having lights on at school all the time. It's calming and definitely gives the school an end of the year feeling. There's enough light for us to be able to see. But the hallways are a little dark and it's hard to see people's faces. I've learned to identify people by their body and voices.

I shut off my computer last night! Again! It's a little annoying because my sister takes her ipod to school and mines broken., therefore it's hard to listen to music. Liz needs to make me a mix cd so that I have something to listen to morning.
